Saint Vitus
Cathedral
11th August 2006
I had been expecting much
more. I had thought that I would find a beautifully carved organ
there. It was there but it was robbed. It is a pity that the new organ
builder has not used the beautiful console. A new organ made by Melzer was
on the choir below it. The prospect pipes were made of zinc. It had only 5
registers in the pedal. I was surprised by that as it is a big organ
(a lot of registers).

I will not mention the
disposition as I did not make pictures of the registers..
I thank Ján Přibyl a
Přemek Kšíc for showing of the organ.
